A community of industry professionals coming together in an informal setting: to build a network of contacts with a common interest in the UK’s Submarine Enterprise; to provide a fantastic team building opportunity; and, to support the NOT FORGOTTEN, which is a long established and very worthwhile Service Charities, which provides entertainment, leisure and recreation for the serving wounded, injured or sick, in a very visible and practical way.
A wonderful networking reception and dinner will be held in the Royal Southern Yacht Club in Hamble village on Tuesday 01 Julty 2025. After dinner an auction of promises will be held to raise the awareness of and funds for The NOT FORGOTTEN and the Submarine Family.
The NOT FORGOTTEN is a national Tri-Service charity which provides entertainment, leisure and recreation for the serving wounded, injured or sick and for ex-service men and women with disabilities.
Formed in 1920, the association offers activities which many of us often take for granted. However, for the thousands of injured and wounded serving and ex- service men and women, many of whom are lonely and vulnerable, their support can bring genuine happiness, a much-needed boost and something to which they can look forward.
The Submarine Family Charity is a UK-based charity that supports serving and former members of the Royal Navy Submarine Service and their families.
Formed in 2003, it is dedicated to providing financial, emotional, and practical assistance to those who have been involved in the submarine service, recognizing the unique challenges and sacrifices that come with serving in submarines. It serves as a vital resource for both serving submariners and veterans, offering financial assistance, welfare support, and mental health services, among other forms of aid.
